I asked the local photographer for backstage footage from fashion shooting archives to experiment with adding and enhancing the visual appeal of raw material.
My usual way of ideation
1. Decomposition of a media message (in this case, a video taken on a phone) into graphic and semantic units.
Given: red cheeks, neck flower, blue cone, camera movement from individual to process, country summer, snobbery's flirtation with innocence.
Separately, it is worth mentioning the vertical proportions. This parameter has a strong connection with Instagram masks. This means that creating a video with tracking and 3D graphics will be perceived more seamlessly by the Instagram user - they will not have to wade through the otherness of the content, which will give me an advantage in building originality within the narrative itself.
2. Strong accent elements needed to be molded with meaning - I tied the cheek portals and the flower with a bee.
The bee character works with a contrast of coquetry and childishness.
3. Effect of camera movement and aspect ratio.
Moving the camera away allows the story of a flower being pollinated by an internal toughie bee to develop.
Bizarre naive 3D sheeped puppies (a hybrid of cuteness and vulnerability) growing from seeds will be integrated into the context of the trend of absurdity and carelessness of visual social networks.
4. Summer, the pistil of the skirt, and the tendency of young users to choose masks with floral motifs determine the rounding of the natural flowering cycle.
As a result, Victoria, the photographer with a specific niche expanded the audience of her services, as well as the services themselves, offering now video shooting with 3D collaging
while I got a thrill from learning the skills of compositing and tracking :)
Credits
Speaking of the technical part, Daniel did camera tracking in After Effects and object tracking in Blender.
And I made 3D models, animation, and compositing.
