AURORA

Visual Identity & Motion
Role:
Director / Concept Creator / 3D Artist

Aurora is a cinematic exploration of transformation — a journey from the constriction of the ego to the mercy of a new beginning. Conceived as a fictional promo for an ethereal folk-pop identity, the micro-film reimagines anthropocentric metamorphosis as a ritual of nature. It is a story of artificial pollination, where the mechanical and the organic dissolve into a single, breathing entity.

The Sacred Garden of the Mind

The narrative follows a sequence of symbolic rebirths. Within the "inner ear island," sleeping Aurorsa is encased in a DNA cage of stems, only to be released by the ritualistic intervention of a Knight-gardener.

Through a spear-strike and a pollination of pearls, the heart-bud is forced open. This is the core of the work: the idea that transformation often requires a sharp, precise disruption to reach a state of grace. The imitation of natural processes — snakes becoming sprouts, hearts becoming armor — serves as a testament to the impartiality of the wild.

A Chromatic Shift

The visual journey is defined by a sharp transition in atmosphere. The first act is submerged in a cold, emerald, and deep blue "nocturnal" gamut. As the transformation reaches its peak, the world bleeds into a palette of sun, brass, and English red — a return to the soil and the light. Every hue was calibrated to evoke a sense of the tension between the unsettling and the sublime.

Evolution of the Scene: From Primitives to Final Light

00. Constructing the Ethereal

To achieve this level of density, I orchestrated the entire production pipeline. From the initial 2D sketches to the complex blocking in Cinema 4D, every movement was choreographed to ensure a seamless, accelerated camera flow.
The final realization took place in Blender and ZBrush, where I sculpted the assets and engineered the simulations.
